Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SirBrewALot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About SirBrewALot
SirBrewALot is a brewing companion that helps users create, save, and explore beverage recipes and related content. The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis and may change during the alpha period.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not create an account for another person, use the service if you are under the applicable digital-consent age, or use the service in violation of law.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, upload malware, infringe another person’s rights, or use the service to facilitate unlawful, dangerous, or harmful activity. We may investigate suspected violations and restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary.
4. Recipes and safety
Recipes and other information are for general informational and creative purposes only. You are responsible for evaluating ingredients, allergies, dietary restrictions, equipment, hygiene, fermentation, storage, and safe preparation. Do not consume anything you believe may be unsafe. SirBrewALot does not provide medical, nutritional, legal, or professional advice.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant SirBrewALot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it. We may remove content that violates these terms or creates risk.
6. Our intellectual property
The service, software, branding, design, and original materials are owned by or licensed to SirBrewALot and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. No rights are granted except as expressly stated here.
7. Availability and third parties
Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without notice. The service may contain links or integrations provided by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or policies; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SirBrewALot disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, legal or security reasons, or operational reasons. Sections concerning content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and updating the effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required. These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without limiting any mandatory protections that apply to consumers in their country of residence. Disputes shall be handled by competent courts, subject to mandatory consumer and alternative-dispute-resolution rights.
